• Mechanical action : The filaments vibrate at high frequency (sonic vibration) on the surface of the tooth, achieving an effective removal of oral biofilm (bacterial plaque).
• Hydrodynamic action : Sonic vibration generates small acoustic waves that are transmitted through saliva throughout the oral cavity, disrupting the biofilm and preventing its adhesion, even beyond the reach of the filaments. This results in greater disruption of the oral biofilm and allows access to hard-to-reach areas such as the gingival margin and interproximal spaces.

Furthermore, VITIS® sonic electric toothbrushes feature uniquely designed brush heads that maximize the benefits of brushing by providing greater precision in biofilm removal, reaching hard-to-access areas such as interdental spaces and the gumline, while respecting teeth and gums. Their high-quality Tynex® filaments have rounded, textured ends, are uniquely arranged, and are protected by a protective cap.
