Start with clean, tangle-free hair. For the best result, we recommend using Aircurl ™️ on damp hair that is 80-90% dry; however, Aircurl ™️ can also be used on dry hair for shaping. Hair roots must be dry.
The key to lush, long-lasting curls is to prepare your hair correctly. You want to inject your hair with a heat protectant to protect your strands from heat and give it added hold.
Divide hair into small, even sections using Grip Clips . The smaller the section, the more defined the curl will be. Connect Aircurl ™️ . Taking the first section, hold the end, turn on Aircurl ™️ and select low, medium or high heat. Twist the handle to roll hair into the vented cylinder. Alternatively, you can wrap your hair around the barrel and hold it to use it like a traditional curling iron. The vertical wrap will give more of a spiral curl than the horizontal one.
Hold for up to 10 seconds or until hair is completely dry and then turn off the machine. Unwrap the hair and release it to release it. Repeat each section once to set the curl. Repeat with remaining sections.
For a looser, more effortless curl, gently brush or comb the curls. Finish with a few drops of hair serum to smooth hair and hydrate the ends.
