I didn't really remember the smell but I already knew the perfume, as soon as I put it on it brought back so many memories, it smells magnificently good!

Someone here asked if Hypnotic Poison is for male or female use? The reply answer to this question was ’female’. ABSOLUTELY WRONG! This is a scent that both men and women have the pleasure of wearing. I am a 45yo man, and I’ve been wearing this particular scent 24-25 years now! It definitely does NOT evoke femininity. I will wear anything that I believe smells good! I do not gender assign something that smells good. I started wearing the original Dior Poison since I was 4! Monitored by my parents of course. Before that, I was putting on my mother’s signature scent Chanel No5. I continued to wear it when I wanted to as I got older. Now, I really only wear Chanel No5 on every holiday as a loving nod to my mother since her passing in ’08. It makes me feel like she is sharing the holidays with us still. Hypnotic Poison has a beautiful warmth and enchanting trail left behind the wearer. I wear it all year long, among so many others because I’m a collector of fragrances with a HUGE collection consisting of both men’s and women’s titled fragrances. If it smells good I’ll be wearing it. I receive SO MANY compliments on how GOOD I smell! Other men and women are both always trailing behind me and sniffing. ’What is that cologne are you wearing?’ HaHa I think to myself because they referred to it as a cologne. I do tell them without breaking eye contact. I simply say ’Dior Hypnotic Poison’ and very frequently both men and women have said to me that they wished that their husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend would smell that good. I had a friend once who asked me to do her a favour, and she asked me to hold her teddy bear that she held at night and sleep with it so that it would smell like me because she loved how I smelled. The other night at one of our country club’s holiday parties, staff and guests alike were all over me about how good I smelled. Guys need to open up their minds and do themselves a great personal favour, and try wearing this one and any other fragrances that they like no matter how/who it was originally marketed to. This is 2023 for a few short weeks still, everything is supposed to be accepted and welcome.

Eau de toilette that lasts all day. Impossible to change it for 20 years.
